A vintage circa 1930 Hepplewhite style carved solid mahogany armchair most likely by Potthast Brothers of Baltimore. This chair features a curved crest rail and open shield back panel with nicely carved decorative splats joining curved armrests. The chair features spade feed and rises on reeded tapering legs. Upholstery is most likely redone somewhere mid-century and would be wonderful if replaced by a more formal or even a unique print to give this chair the look it deserves!
